We are out-of-network…

The majority of health insurance plans will only cover physical therapy visits for what they deem is “medically necessary.”

This means insurance companies are the ones setting the standard for what is “good enough”—not you and your physical therapist.

Ultimately, this limits your treatments to pain management rather than treating the root cause of your pain or improving your overall performance and ability to do the activities you love.

You should be in control of your health. That is why we have decided to opt out of this broken system and let you decide what is best for you.

… but your visit may still be covered.

Most insurance plans reimburse 50-80% of out-of-network services once you meet your deductible.

If you have not met your deductible, your visit will help you get there faster. If you have met your deductible, your visit could be reimbursed.

To make reimbursement easy, we partner with Reimbursify to simplify the process.

All you have to do is let us know you would like to file for reimbursement and then email us a copy of your insurance card. Or you can verify your out-of-network insurance benefits yourself by clicking the button below.

After your first visit, we will submit treatments directly to your insurance on your behalf. It really is that easy!

Please note that applying for reimbursement does not guarantee your insurance will accept and reimburse your claim. This happens, but we know how the system works and will provide any additional information your insurance company wants to help you get your claim approved.

Do I need a doctor’s referral?

You do not need a doctor’s referral to receive physical therapy, but having one increases the likelihood that your treatment will be reimbursed by your insurance

Under Georgia’s “Direct Access” law, appointments without a referral are limited to 21 days or 8 visits, whichever comes first. To continue care after that, you will need a referral from your physician, physician’s assistant, or dentist.

You also need a doctor’s referral for dry needling.

We will help you to determine the best course of action and work with your primary care provider to get a referral.
